But, as I watched the stars fade from the sky this morning, and the sun rise, I was reminded once again that to our Creator, the One Whose glory the heavens declare, our troubles, which we tend to think are so daunting, are actually quite small. Not that He doesn't care, He most certainly does. After all, not a sparrow falls to the ground without Him, and even the lilies of the field receive His loving care. It's simply a question of proportion and perspective, and knowing Who is actually in charge. There is no danger that He cannot protect us from. There is no evil that can ultimately defeat us. Nothing, nothing at all, can happen without His all-wise superintendence. So, let us confidently, faithfully, do the simple things today that He has called us to do, while trusting Him, resting in Him, filled with the love, and the joy, and the peace, that only He can give."

"The only argument Romney Republicans have for their candidate is fear, an abject fear that is intended to convince you to support what you say you hate.
Well, I, for one, refuse to be motivated or activated by fear, or to abandon the truth, or principle, out of fear.
My Bible tells me that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind, and that He rewards those who act out of a principled faith.
And so, like the free men and women who built this country, let us laugh in the face of fear, and simply do right.
