The task before us is doubly difficult. Not only must we turn the people of the United States back to God and the Christian, Biblical basis for our American claim to liberty and self-governance, to the self-evident truths and the natural law moral principles of our forefathers, but at the same time, we must lead them, by example, in the carrying out of the great labor of replacing our current corrupt political process and leadership with a principled, practical alternative that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.
This is not easy. In fact, in and of ourselves, based solely on our own limited individual resources and power, obviously, it cannot be done.
But, as the Holy Scriptures, and the motto of the great State of Ohio, say, "With God, all things are possible."
Yes, with God's providential assistance, and with the focused, united commitment of all decent American patriots, it can and must be done, for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
It's not optional.
It must be done.

And the equal protection of the right to life of all persons is absolutely required by God and by the supreme law of our land, the Constitution.

Virtually every regulatory “pro-life” bill being offered in our day completely surrenders the indispensable principles of God-given, unalienable, individual rights, due process, and equal protection under the law.
So any “victory” you think you have gained with this legislation is wholly a mirage.
You’re not “saving some” as you think you are. You’re guaranteeing the continued killing of all.
When those principles have been given up - since they are the only real moral, constitutional, and legal arguments against the practice of human abortion - the continuation of abortion on demand is absolutely assured.
Especially when you join that error with the common mistaken belief that we live in a judicial oligarchy instead of a free constitutional republic with required checks and balances.

My response to both of them:
"Pretty much every conservative knows by now that we cannot rely on the so-called 'mainstream media.' They are not our friends, to put it mildly. You can count on them to make this election about nothing else but a horse race between the corrupt liberal candidates of the Republican and Democrat parties.
The so-called 'conservative media' isn't much better. Most of them will be doing the same thing. (However, we do have some limited opportunities to use them to get our message out, in a modest way.)
Which leaves what?
The citizen media.
The men who won our independence from Great Britain did so, in terms of communications, with little more than hand-written letters delivered by men on horseback, and broadsides, or what we call fliers, printed on relatively crude printing presses.
What do we have available to us?
We virtually all have a cell phone on our belt, and text messaging, and computers, and the internet, and free email - often with thousands of contacts in our address book, and free websites, and free social networks, and free telephone conferencing capability, and free web radio, and free web video, etc., etc., etc. It's not that we lack the ability to communicate with one another. To date, all we have have lacked is the vision and the will to do so.
xxxxx xxx xxxxxx, look at xxxxxxx x xxxx. They are getting the word out to thousands of people, using the resources at their disposal. And there are many supporters just like them who are doing exactly the same thing. You found out about me by this means, right? Multiply that, and folks will be amazed at what COULD happen.
But, it's up to you. The only limiting factor, really, is whether or not you choose to stay trapped in the same old way of thinking, which has produced nothing but the continued destruction of our liberty and our form of government.
I hope you will deeply ponder what I'm saying here.

My first question is a composite question: What do you think caused the current war in Ukraine? What, if anything, is the US to do about it?
My second question is more local. What is the proper role of a city and county government in regulating local business?"
Good morning, xxxxx.
These are tough questions, but I will do my best to answer them in the small amount of time I have available to me this morning.
Like most wars, there are many causes. In the case of Ukraine, to put it as simply as I can, it's a combination of Russian aggression, Ukrainian corruption, and American and European lack of wisdom and foresight.
What are we to do about it?
Well, our options are very limited, especially in light of the muck everybody has already made of it. As the saying goes: "A man's got to know his limitations." The same goes for nations. About all we can do at this point is to try to use our leverage to make the moral, political, and economic cost of Russian aggression extremely high, while endeavoring to shore up whatever decent elements there might be in Ukraine.
But, above all, we should be demanding that the Europeans carry their own load. This is their backyard, not ours.
As to your second question, let me start at the top and work down.
About the only legitimate federal role is to regulate international and interstate commerce, a role they have, of course, greatly overstepped in their modern massive, unconstitutional regulation of INTRAstate commerce. We must change that.
But, the way our system developed, frankly, was to place most of the regulatory power at the state level. In fact, most states just assume they have virtually unlimited powers in this area, whether their state constitutions allow for it or not. Personally, I think it's past time that we begin to put strict limitations on the states; politically, by statute, and by constitutional amendment where necessary.
Which means, of course, that I think most of the governmental power should reside at the most local level possible.
But, that doesn't mean that I think that local government power should be unlimited either. Are zoning laws needed? Yes, in some instances, mostly in heavily built up areas. Are sanitary and public health laws necessary? Yes. Those are just a couple of examples of legitimate authority, exercised for the good of the people and the community. But, we should only enact ordinances and regulations that are moral, constitutional, and ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, and no more. If we can't exercise restraint locally, where else will we ever muster the will and the wisdom to restrain government?
I realize that these are not completely in-depth answers to these complex questions. But I tried mightily to hit on what I think are the main points.
