September 26, 2012 By Doug Book A ruling handed down on September 13th by the D.C. District Federal Court has finally made clear what many have known for years–that the Obama Administration’s Iran policy was initiated and advanced by a group with illicit, hidden ties to the Iranian Regime and financed by the U.S./Israel- hating George Soros. In 2009, Barack Obama turned over virtually all responsibility and authority for foreign policy negotiations with Iran to Trita Parsi and his National Iranian American Council (NIAC). Founded by Parsi in 2003, the Washington-based NIAC is a powerful lobbying group that is “…widely considered the de facto lobby for the Iranian Regime in America.” Like too many organizations that claim to represent the best interests of the nation of Iran and Iranian-Americans, the NIAC is tightly connected with and known to be funded at least in part by the George Soros empire. Small wonder NIAC advice on dealing with Iran was replete with claims that Israeli propaganda was responsible for the negative image imposed on otherwise peace-loving, misunderstood Iranian mullahs. Not exactly a friend of Israel is George Soros. And how did the reputedly “non-partisan” NIAC suggest the Obama Administration proceed with negotiations? Simple. The Council “…opposes sanctions on Iran, soft-pedals any controversial events in Iran, and counsels “patience” regarding Iran’s stance towards its nuclear program.” What better way for NIAC representatives to serve their hidden masters in Tehran than by promoting a policy of “peaceful coexistence” between the US and Iran. And to the NIAC, peaceful coexistence meant “…acceptance of [the] Iranian government, accepting Iranian hegemony in the Gulf and its place in other parts of the Middle East, removal of sanctions and pressure against Iran, abandon of assistance to the Iranian people’s resistance against the regime and etc.” For the U.S., the consequences of this game of intrigue played by the Administration’s hand-picked, Iranian representatives are summed up in this statement by Barack Obama: “I’ve made it clear that the United States respects the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and is not interfering with Iran’s affairs.” And indeed, this is the path Barack Obama has followed. Not exactly reassuring words from a president charged with keeping the American public safe from a nuclear-bound administration of religious fanatics dedicated to our demise. Read this story at westernjournalism.com ... An Interview with America’s Party Presidential Candidate, Tom Hoefling - Caffeinated Thoughts9/26/2012 Can’t vote for Mitt Romney? Won’t vote for Barack Obama? Last week I had opportunity to interview Tom Hoefling, the America’s Party candidate for President of the United States. I asked him about several issues and his answers below are complete. On Abortion: “Make no mistake, our Constitution explicitly and imperatively requires equal protection for all persons. “No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.” “No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” It is not optional…. My understanding of those facts is what led me to author a document which is also at the heart of our America’s Party Platform, the America’s Party Leadership Pledge, and my campaign platform.” [The Equal Protecton for Posterity Resolution ] On The Role of Third Parties: “Political parties are nowhere mentioned in our Constitution. George Washington, in his Farewell Address, strictly warned us against the dangers of party factionalism. Instead, he rightly said that we should consider ourselves first and foremost to be Americans, united in one just cause, and pointed us to the only foundation upon which this republic, or any nation, could sustain itself in liberty: a shared moral basis. “The supposed “two-party” system that has developed here is, in fact, more of a one-party state at this point. One beast with two legs, but always headed in the same general unprincipled, unconstitutional, socialist, statist direction, no matter which leg happens to be swinging forward at any given point. “Sadly, most of the so-called “third” parties that have developed in the modern era lack a principled moral basis as well, and/or merely seek to duplicate what the Republicans and the Democrats already are. They don’t have a plan to change anything fundamentally, they simply seek to replace one of the existing two legs. Of course, predictably, they have all failed miserably. “America’s Party, which we founded four years ago, is completely different. We have stripped the concept of a political party down to its bare essence: a clear statement of the moral principles of the Declaration of Independence, the stated purposes and requirements of the U.S. Constitution, the obligations of all officers of government to fulfill their sacred oaths made to God, to support that Constitution, along with the practical means to enforce consistent accountability on all who seek to be political leaders at any level of American governance. “In 1956, President Dwight D. Eisenhower summed up what I believe about political parties very well: “If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.” “I think most Americans will agree with me when I say that today’s Republican and Democrat parties have become little more than vehicles for self-seeking, self-aggrandizing unprincipled politicians to seize power. These old broken-down vehicles have become a real road hazard to life and liberty. Let’s junk them, and build a vehicle that is principled; one that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.” On His Experience and Qualifications: “In the first place, I am qualified by my more than twenty years of demonstrated allegiance in the political arena to the principles and purposes that make up the raison d’etre, or reason for being, of the office. “Secondly, in terms of my life experience, I believe I truly represent a large majority of the people in this country. As someone who has always had to work for a living to keep my family fed, clothed and housed, whether it was working for someone else or running a small business, I have walked in their shoes. I have personally experienced their struggles. I identify and empathize with them, and, once folks hear my story, they readily identify with me. “In a system that is supposed to be one of representative self-government, based in principle, I think those are pretty good qualifications.” Closing Remarks: “In my opinion, the country can’t be put back on the right track until conservatives return to the core principles of the country, which are primarily moral principles, and stop compromising them for the sake of any perceived political expediency.” Romney Says Obama Is Trying to Fool Voters With Inaccurate Attacks
ABC News *excerpt* Romney said Obama accuses him of being in favor of lowering taxes on wealthy people. “No I’m not,” Romney said. “I’m not going to reduce the taxes on the wealthy at all..." "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."

"Everything that is right or reasonable pleads for separation. The blood of the slain, the weeping voice of nature cries; tis time to part." --Thomas Paine, Common Sense, 1776 "The phenomenon of millions of people voting for what they say they hate, solely out of abject fear of a 'greater evil,' is in fact the destruction of the whole idea of constitutional, republican, REPRESENTATIVE self-government. In other words, it signals the demise of the United States of America."
-- Tom Hoefling, Sept. 24, 2012 "The equal rights of man, and the happiness of every individual, are now acknowledged to be the only legitimate objects of government. Modern times have the signal advantage, too, of having discovered the ONLY device by which these rights can be secured, to wit: government by the people, acting not in person, but BY REPRESENTATIVES chosen by themselves..." -- Thomas Jefferson, Letter to A. Coray, 1823 "We are grappling in our politics with matters of great importance, to ourselves, to our nation, to the world, and to the prospects for our posterity to enjoy the Blessings of Liberty. But, as I watched the stars fade from the sky this morning, and the sun rise, I was reminded once again that to our Creator, the One Whose glory the heavens declare, our troubles, which we tend to think are so daunting, are actually quite small. Not that He doesn't care, He most certainly does. After all, not a sparrow falls to the ground without Him, and even the lilies of the field receive His loving care. It's simply a question of proportion and perspective, and knowing Who is actually in charge. There is no danger that He cannot protect us from. There is no evil that can ultimately defeat us. Nothing, nothing at all, can happen without His all-wise superintendence. So, let us confidently, faithfully, do the simple things today that He has called us to do, while trusting Him, resting in Him, filled with the love, and the joy, and the peace, that only He can give."
-- Tom Hoefling, Sept. 24, 2012 "They are not to do anything they please to provide for the general welfare, but only to lay taxes for that purpose. To consider the latter phrase not as describing the purpose of the first, but as giving a distinct and independent power to do any act they please which may be good for the Union, would render all the preceding and subsequent enumerations of power completely useless. It would reduce the whole instrument to a single phrase, that of instituting a Congress with power to do whatever would be for the good of the United States; and as they would be the sole judges of the good or evil, it would be also a power to do whatever evil they please...Certainly no such universal power was meant to be given them. It was intended to lace them up straightly within the enumerated powers and those without which, as means, these powers could not be carried into effect."
-- Thomas Jefferson, Opinion on a National Bank, 1791 I Endorse Tom Hoefling for President - "My values will never allow me to vote for a lesser evil."9/23/2012 Reeny's Rambles
I have been saying for a few weeks now that a full written endorsement for Tom Hoefling of America's party was in the works. I already knew I was going to vote for Tom a few months ago but I had been so caught up in the Romney drama that I didn't stop to consider that rather than trying to convince people how bad Romney is, I may do better to convince people how good Tom is. In thinking about how I would construct this endorsement I wanted to make sure that I made it about Tom and not Romney; about a values based candidate who deserves the votes of principled conservatives who believe that good can conquer evil, not about chastising those who aren't principled and choose to believe that only a lesser evil can defeat evil. In church this morning my Pastor spoke of 5 things to get through stressful circumstances. 1. Trust that God is holy and good 2. Trust in his promises 3. Stop trying to be in control 4. Open your eyes in your circumstances 5. Embrace freedom while you walk through Of these, the one that spoke to me most was stop trying to be in control. He spoke of those three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace (the story that keeps confirming my decision to support Tom). He talked about how they knew their God was holy and good and in control, and they said "we will not bow". He spoke of how we need to understand that we don't control the government. God raises governments and he tears them down, what our focus should be on is fellowship with him and when we focus on his goodness we walk in faith. When we walk in faith we can walk around in a fiery furnace like it's a day on the beach. Tom Hoefling is a humble man who loves this country. He is the underdog of all underdogs and yet is willing to step out in faith because he believes that God is indeed Holy and good. That goodness of God is what directed the paths of those brave men who founded this country and the freedoms that we have come to take for granted. Tom still believes in that message because he believes that God's goodness does not fade away. Tom is standing in front of a powerful King and telling him "I will not bow". In hearing Tom speak a few times I believe that he is answering a calling. He may not be called to win but he is certainly called to take a stand that no one else is taking. He is standing for God's goodness. One thing that is always a huge factor to me in supporting a candidate is abortion. Abortion is the biggest most heinous atrocity that happened to this nation in it's history. I hold it even more atrocious than slavery because at least slaves were allowed to live!! Abortion is closer to the sick actions of Hitler. I cannot even find words in the English language to express my disgust with a nation that would approve of murdering it's most innocent and helpless citizens. It's mind boggling and excruciatingly painful to think about. Tom is the only true pro life candidate on my ballot. What do I mean by that? Well, when Tom says he believes in the sanctity of life, he means it. He doesn't believe we can pick and choose which people deserve to protected under the law. A heartbeat is a heartbeat, a life is a life and it is worthy of protection no matter how it came to existence. Tom understands the threat of Iran and our duty as America to protect our allies and not appease those who would seek to destroy us. Tom understands that government has limitations, that politicians are public servants entrusted with a duty to protect people, not rule over them. Tom respects our Constitution and would uphold the vow to follow it's direction and serve the nation under it's guidelines. I'm voting for Tom Hoefling for president for the same reason I voted for Rick Santorum in my primary. Because despite the odds against him, despite the voices that say he can't win, I'm letting God have control. God asked me to trust him, he asked me to have faith, he embedded in my spirit with the first breath of life that entered my body, a part of him. The part of me that moralizes and holds on to the values that keep me close to him, those same values brought me to support Rick Santorum, a man who fought for the unborn, a man who believes in the Constitution and has respect for America's exceptional history of freedom that no other country has ever been able to experience. Those same values bring me to support Tom Hoefling. No matter if it's the primary or the general election I will always vote my values. My values will never allow me to vote for a lesser evil. My God is good and holy. My God is in control. I trust his promises. My eyes are open to see his presence. And with a vote for my conscience I embrace freedom. Tom Hoefling America's Party God's candidate 2012 www.tomhoefling.com Tom Hoefling: "In the end it always comes down to the patriot at the bridge. That's all there is."9/23/2012 Andy Prior
The 2012 Presidential election brings our nation to a pivotal point in history and I don’t believe that overstates the present time. We face a critical choice, with a disastrous economy, a battered financial foundation, drastically reduced civil liberties, a porous border and a 40 year stain on our nation’s conscience as the backdrop. Our nation’s leaders would have us believe that there is only one choice and that if we don’t choose A, we are stuck with the disaster that will be B, regardless of which side of the equation they claim to be on. They threaten and harangue us with visions of Teddy Roosevelt and Ross Perot, if we dare to look for the rest of the multiple choice answers. Granted, it has been 150+ years since our nation has seen a 3rd Party candidate who truly “gets it” and understands that if we don’t address all of the above issues, our nation’s future will be not just dramatically different but potentially non-existent. Not only was that candidate also a first time candidate, Abraham Lincoln had never won office before and was representing a political party that had NO significant presence in the halls of power in our nation’s Capital! Some say that since we’ve never heard of this candidate, it must be a wasted vote. They ask where are all his signs, placards, bumper stickers, billboards, radio and TV ads. Yet these same people bemoan the nearly $1 Billion that will be spent by the 2 major parties, as an effort to “buy the vote”! I simply want to know why they are looking for answers in the same places that led to the mess in which we find ourselves. It seems to me, that is the definition of insanity. Tom Hoefling represents a party, America’s Party, that is founded upon our nation’s ideals and seeks to call all Americans to join with each other in re-creating that “Shining city upon a hill”, that so many have forgotten. Tom Hoefling’s personal platform is the same as America’s Party’s platform, something not all of our opponents can claim, as they try to be all things to all people. Of course, these candidates can fool all of the people some of the time, but it becomes much harder to fool all of the people, all of the time. Tom Hoefling and America’s Party are trying to fundamentally change the political discourse in our nation from one of profligate spending on sound bites and ad buys, to one of education and conscientious leadership that leads by example. For this reason, Tom Hoefling and America’s Party take no donations. Instead, we seek volunteers who are willing to be their own campaign manager and create their own outreach efforts, whether that is online or in person. Some say that they know what candidate A or B will do in office, based upon what they say on the campaign trail. America’s Party was founded on the principle of going beyond the sound bites and superficial campaign trail quotes and deep-sea diving into candidate’s records, in order to discern what they’ll do once in office. This high standard results in many discarded candidates whose claims fall far short of their actions, especially when their records are as long as our opponents in this election cycle. Personally, I believe that regardless of who wins this election, God will still be in control and for this reason I will not be swayed to vote against my conscience. God has allowed previous disasters to befall our nation and thus forced our nation to reassess our priorities, over and over again. Personally, my support of Obama’s opponents goes back to his 2004 Senate campaign, when I actively supported Alan Keyes both with my funds and my endorsement. This opposition stems from Obama’s support of infanticide, despite the destruction that has caused in some of our nation’s most vulnerable neighborhoods. Personally, I believe that Romney’s record is as bad as Obama’s on the key, most critical issues of our time. The best catalogue of his record can be found at http://prolifeprofiles.com/mitt-romney-abortion and because of this, I consider Romney more dangerous than Obama. It will be nigh unto impossible for members of his own party to deny Romney the votes he needs to pass his agenda, just like when Bush had both Houses of Congress to support No Child Left Behind, MediCare Part D and the Patriot Act, among other questionable initiatives. Personally, I believe that only God knows which of the 2, Obama or Romney, is the greater evil for America and since I'm not God, I can't vote for either because I might get it wrong! God obviously wants our nation on our knees seeking him, or we wouldn't have this choice in the first place! Personally, I know that Tom Hoefling is only running for President because nobody else is standing up for Life, Family and Liberty. If just 1/2 the Christians in America were less worried about Obama and more worried about God, we would turn this nation around no matter who was President! If just 50 million Christians would choose to support Life, Family and Liberty, by voting for Tom, then we wouldn't have to worry about Romney or Obama, because it would be a landslide for Tom! Personally, I believe that if every officer of government would simply abide by his oath of office, abortion would end tomorrow, because it is an UnConstitutional denial of an Inalienable Right that God has given all mankind and no government has the ability to infringe on it! In fact, if the GOP would ever actually support the pro-life plank that Reagan put into the party's platform, then maybe there wouldn't be a need for a modern party full of William Wilberforces! Finally, I know that a vote for Tom Hoefling is not a vote for anyone else! It is a vote for Tom! If you don't want to take what I say into consideration and you insist on voting for Candidate A or B, that's up to you. But don't you believe for a second that those of us who are choosing a different path have some sort of hidden agenda and are somehow supporting evil by not supporting the GOP's mandate! My name is Andy Prior. I’m a native-born Texan; My ancestors came over on the Mayflower, spent 13 generations on US soil and fought in the US Navy for nearly 40 of the last 100 years; I’ve spent 20 percent of my life living under Communism and I treasure my freedoms too much to give them up without a fight; I’m a Christian without further labels; I’m a conservative without further labels; And I refuse to compromise my principles in the 2012 election cycle by voting for any of the candidates for President, except one. I hereby endorse Tom Hoefling for President of the United States of America. http://www.tomhoefling.com "No government is respectable which is not just. Without unspotted purity of public faith, without sacred, public principle, fidelity and honor, no mere forms of government, no machinery of laws, can give dignity to political society."
-- Daniel Webster I believe that Tom Hoefling has the character and leadership skill set that uniquely qaulifies him to be the next president of the United States. Add to that Tom's principles and moral courage and you've got yourself one heck of a leader. A man I would trust with the lives of my family, a man I DO trust with re-establishing the American dream! Tom has my unyielding support.

"The worst evil that could be inflicted upon the youth of the land would be to leave them without restraint and completely at the mercy of their own uncontrolled inclinations. Under such conditions education would be impossible, and all orderly development intellectually or morally would be hopeless. The Declaration of Independence...claims...the ultimate source of authority by stating...they were...'appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World for the rectitude of their intentions.'...The foundations of our independence and our Government rests upon basic religious convictions. Back of the authority of our laws is the authority of the Supreme Judge of the World, to whom we still appeal. It seems to me perfectly plain that the authority of law, the right to equality, liberty, and property, under American institutions, have for their foundation reverence for God. If we could imagine that to be swept away, these institutions of our American government could not long survive."

Eisenhower: A true American political party vs. a mere conspiracy to seize power9/20/2012 "If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power."
-- DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER, speech, Mar. 6, 1956 "Conscience is the most sacred of all property."
-- James Madison "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of Patriotism who should labor to subvert these great Pillars...Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle...Morality is a necessary spring of popular government...Who that is a sincere friend to it can look with indifference upon attempts to shake the foundation?
And of fatal tendency...to put, in the place of the delegated will of the Nation, the will of a party; - often a small but artful and enterprising minority...They are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the Power of the People and to usurp for the themselves the reins of Government; destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion... But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism...Disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an Individual...(who) turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty...The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the departments in one, and thus to create, whatever the form of government, a real despotism..." Let there be no change by usurpation...It is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed." -- George Washington, Farewell Address |
