"Tom, you represent me in all things that matter most, morally, so much more than any other candidate! I know where you stand on all the major moral issues. You stand in the same place as me. It is the place that takes priority over some of my own present needs. I do have needs that would be met by social programs more in line with democratic candidates, BUT where does my help come from as a believer? Not from government, but from GOD! ( Psalm 20:7, and many others about God's providence) I 100% believe in voting for you because you are in line with what is Biblical. God will honor and bless that in my life and the lives of others, despite government programs. I'd give up any benefits from government I could to have abortion banned, to have the right to own guns protected, to maintain marriage as a sacred union of God between one man and one woman. I am praying for you and all Christian voters--even the ones who might possibly risk losing government programs they currently benefit from. God is completely able to sustain us and care for our needs! God bless you!"

Tom Hoefling I'm absolutely certain that we have no more than eight years to turn the ship of American state completely around, before economic destruction comes upon us. And I believe that we have four years or less to push the rudder over hard to starboard. We already know without any doubt that neither Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump have any intention whatsoever of doing that. Like all statists, they truly believe that their job is to "take care of you." "Sorry conservatives," to quote Donald Trump. "Full speed ahead!" In this general election, nobody else is telling you these things but me. You have a choice. You can get mad at me for telling you the truth, and walk away, back to the politicians who keep whispering sweet nothings in your political ear, or you can listen, and resolve to help me with the rudder. It's up to you. But don't say nobody warned you. U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf: "According to the Congressional Budget Office’s long-term estimate, every penny of the federal budget will go to interest on the debt and entitlement spending by 2025, That means no money for national defense. No money for homeland security. No money to fix the nation’s crumbling bridges and roads...," Tom Hoefling If I was just another run-of-the-mill politician I would tell you that the law is whatever we want it to be. If I was just another run-of-the-mill politician I would tell you that it's just fine to keep trying to regulate the mass murder that's taking place every day in the nation's abortion "clinics." If I was just another run-of-the-mill politician I would tell you that marriage is whatever we decide that it is, and that judges get to make our laws, set our public policies, change the simple meanings of words, pretend that "up" is down, and "down" is up, and completely ignore the supreme law of our land, the Constitution of the United States. If I was just another run-of-the-mill politician I would, for my own political aggrandizement, completely ignore the fact that within a decade the unconstitutional socialist Ponzi schemes of the New Deal and the Great Society, and the interest on the debts run up by a generation of corrupt politicians, are going to consume the entire federal budget, with nothing left over for anything else. But I'm not just another run-of-the-mill politician. The law - to be true law, to be just law - must be premised in the laws of nature and nature's God. The abortion holocaust must come to an end. Equal protection for all must be reestablished. Marriage is what marriage is, exactly the way God created, defined, and instituted it. Judges are not our rulers. If we don't immediately deal like sober adults with the things I've listed above, and with the out-of-control unconstitutional spending of those we elect, within a decade it will be too late to stop the inevitable destruction that is coming. This is stark reality. U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf: "According to the Congressional Budget Office’s long-term estimate, every penny of the federal budget will go to interest on the debt and entitlement spending by 2025, That means no money for national defense. No money for homeland security. No money to fix the nation’s crumbling bridges and roads...," “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden." -- Matthew 5:14 Tom Hoefling
Some people, particularly political people, just can't understand the way I'm running this campaign. No money? What? Are you nuts? No, I'm not. What they don't understand is that I'm trying to remind the people of this country of their own intrinsic power. I'm trying to show them how to take their power back into their own hands. I'm trying to convince them that they do not have to rely on the money or the media interests, not in the age of instant communications at our fingertips. I'm trying to show them that if they decide to go the right way, all the money and all the media in the whole wide world won't be able to stop them. This old-fashioned front porch campaign, just exactly the way it is constructed, is the perfect antidote to Trump and Clinton and their oceans of corrupt money. What people need to realize is that I'm seeking a mandate from We the People for things that money just can't buy. I'm seeking a mandate for national repentance. I'm seeking a mandate to end the national shame of abortion on demand. I'm seeking a mandate to restore and protect the civil institution of marriage. I'm seeking a mandate to restore our right to keep and bear arms, our national sovereignty, our national security, and our national borders. I'm seeking a mandate to rein in usurping, out-of-control, immoral judges. I'm seeking a mandate for a speedy end to the socialism that has been allowed to overcome our constitutional form of limited government, and an end to the debt spending that is robbing our children and grandchildren of their God-given right to government by consent. Ultimately, I'm seeking a mandate to fulfill the supreme stated purpose of our precious Constitution: To secure the Blessings of Liberty to our Posterity. Of course, in my own power, this is all impossible. But it is not impossible for God. And it is not impossible for the American people once they are reminded of their own sovereign power, under the Sovereign God. If you do this, we will have an indisputable mandate to set the country back on its right foundations, and to make it once again, truly, the shining city set on a hill that it was meant to be. From the desk of Tom Hoefling An important email message I received from a supporter, followed by my full response: Mr. Hoefling, I voted for you in 2012. Needless to say, I feel even more disenfranchised by the current top two candidates of this election. I have researched Gary Johnson as I feel he was a good governor when I lived in New Mexico. However, I take issue with some of the libertarian platform. My concern and question on your beliefs are in the areas of the immigration issue. I do agree that we need to secure our borders. However, I also firmly believe as a Christian that we have an imperative as believers and as a nation to act in compassion to help those in the world who need it; and I believe that imperative DOES NOT end at our borders. Also, I believe that there are significant numbers of immigrants currently in the U.S. who, while here illegally, are honest, hard-working people who are simply trying to feed and care for their families. To not care for the less fortunate is un-Christian, in my opinion. Can you tell me two things: How would your administration secure our borders yet remain compassionate, and how would your administration handle otherwise law-abiding illegal immigrants currently living in the U.S.? Thank You, John XXXXX My reply: Hello, John. Sorry it took me a couple of days to reply, but it's getting crazy busy here, and ever since I first read your question I knew that it deserved a thoughtful, full response. Americans have generally treated immigrants, legal or illegal, very well. I've seen this with my own eyes. The Christian ethic, the fellow feeling for others spoken of by men like John Locke, is not yet completely dead in our country, contrary to what some people think. And in the legal sense, our Constitution, in the Fourteenth Amendment, specifically protects all persons, which includes non-citizens, legal or not, in their lives, their liberty, and their property. But the Fourteenth Amendment also makes the necessary distinction between the required protection by the states of the God-given rights of all persons and the privileges and immunities of citizens. Let me put it this way: All citizens are persons, but not all persons are citizens. If we do not maintain this distinction of citizenship, we are basically no longer a sovereign nation. Open borders and unlimited immigration would be like you opening your home without limit to all house guests, or even to all burglars, in effect saying that anyone who wants to can be a part of your family, that they can live with you, and fully access and enjoy all of your resources. Does God require such largesse of you? I don't believe that He does. Let's not forget that it was God Himself who separated and created the nations. And God requires of us that we take care of those of our own household. If my memory serves, the scripture says that those who do not care for their own are "worse than an unbeliever." The fact is, if your compassion knows no limits, your resources will not last very long at all, and the whole crowd will once again be out on the street. Only then it will be you and your household out on the street with them. And then you will no longer be of much use or assistance to anyone who is in need. Another necessary distinction that I would make is the difference between the private citizen and the president. The individual should have compassion on other people, even if they are not here legally. In fact, the scripture requires that of us, and condemns societies (like Sodom) who mistreat "the stranger." But the president has sworn before God to put his personal feelings aside, and to enforce all constitutional laws, in the interest of the whole body of the people, not just the interests of any one person or group of people. Our Constitution absolutely requires our federal government - a government administered by the president, who is the chief executive, the chief magistrate, the commander-in-chief - to secure the states against invasion. So, as the person charged with doing that, I would use whatever force was available to me to carry out that charge. The same Constitution grants exclusive authority to Congress to set our naturalization laws. So, my sworn duty would be to carry out those laws. In summation, we should in no way mistreat anyone, no matter how they got here. But those who are here illegally must go home to their own countries. If they want to come here and be part of the American family, they must first obtain our consent in the matter. Thank you very much for your support previously, and I hope that my words and actions will merit that support in the days ahead. Respectfully, Tom Hoefling "I will vote for Tom Hoefling because I am done being part of the problem. I am done comparing lies, justifying wrongs, and crossing my fingers that the lessor evil will bring good results. Time to be honest, Christians. No more proclaiming faith in God while supporting corruption and participating in an ungodly structure of state. No more exceptions, no more excuses, no more justifications. No man made law or politician can save our nation, only God will through the gospel using real men with real values and the members of His body, the church." Tom Hoefling Our forefathers, by the grace of God, with great self-sacrifice of blood, sweat, and tears, gifted us with a constitutional, republican form of representative self-government in liberty. Others over two centuries have added their sacrifices to the preservation of that free republic. We have lived our lives enjoying the great blessings they labored to obtain. Unfortunately, in our time, that blessed form of government, in which the sovereign body of the people rules, under the Sovereign God, has been betrayed. The Constitution that each and every representative must swear to support and defend is ignored. The sacred oath to support and defend that Constitution is considered by our elites to be nothing more than a formality, or just another photo op. Government of, by, and for the people has been perverted, and has instead become government of, by, and for those same corrupt money, media, business, and governmental elites. If you are still voting for candidates who betray the original principles of the republic, and betray the Constitution, and betray the obligations of the oath, you, my fellow American, are still part of the problem. If you say you believe in America's principles, and the Constitution, but support candidates who don't truly understand or apply either, you are part of the problem. The saving of the American republic begins the day that you stop supporting the betrayers, and resolve to henceforth support only candidates with a proven track record of standing without compromise for what is right. The earthly fate of your posterity, and my posterity, rides on your decision. As for me and my house? We are not compromising any longer. We are not backing up. And we are not backing down. If you care enough to stand with us, here is the link to make sure your name is in our nationwide grassroots network of principled patriots. "This is the sort of leader I can follow. This is a man I can unreservedly honor as President of my country. His moral integrity qualifies him to be entrusted with 4 to 8 years of my country's future." "A true conservative leader who honors life from conception to the grave. Mr. Tom Hoefling stands strongly for common sense conservative values that honor God, family, and the American people. I believe that he will uphold the Constitution of the United States of America as the founding fathers had envisioned it. He receives my full endorsement as a candidate for President of the United States of America. I will support him from now until I pull the lever in November." "Our pastor, among many others, has called upon Christ followers to take a stand against the norms of today's culture should they conflict with God's Word. We are to stand firm even if it means standing alone. This means action is required. It's not enough to own a farm field and pray for corn to grow. We have to plant the seeds, plow, etc. also. It's not enough to have a child and pray the child turns out ok. We must teach, educate, raise, and be an example to the child on a continuous basis. If we want a President who isn't corrupt, it's not enough to pray for a President with character. We also must stop electing corrupt candidates. I will be the change I want to see in others. If a legitimate Christ follower who over time bears good fruit --- if that candidate truly exists --- where do I stand? Should I side with Goliath over David, because David had a slim chance mathematically? Should I run up to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; and tell them that I'm glad they mean well, but they really don't stand a chance? I choose to believe in miracles because God is in control, whether my chosen candidate wins or loses. If miracles didn't happen, I wouldn't be a father, I wouldn't be a CPA, I wouldn't be alive, period. I can't tell you who to vote for. It's not my place. But even if I stand alone, risking public foolishness right in front of you, then consider it done. My vote will go to Tom Hoefling for President in November."
"Tom Hoefling makes too much sense to be ignored. I cannot vote for either major party candidate, and feel an obligation to vote. I abhor abortion, the murder of innocent children, and dislike the lack of moral Christian values we used to hold dear. God and God alone can restore us as a nation. The Lord will raise up whom He chooses so I do not consider this a 'wasted' vote at all."
Tom Hoefling Gregory (Scotland Yard detective): "Is there any other point to which you would wish to draw my attention?" Sometimes you can learn more about a politician by paying close attention to what he doesn't say than by what he does say. So I'm not going to point in this missive much to the things Trump said, or shouted, from the podium last night at the close of the 2016 GOP convention. I'm going to point to the dog that didn't bark. Trump dropped the names of a long litany of people in his speech. But one particular Person was almost completely missing from the presentation: Almighty God. Even the obligatory, perfunctory "God bless America" that was inserted at the end in the pre-written text wasn't actually uttered by Trump. Apparently he forgot to read it off the teleprompter. He did manage to get out a "God bless you," as a last afterthought. That was it. Perhaps someone in the crowd sneezed. Also completely missing was any sense of our national obligations to God, to do right, to enforce justice, and to walk humbly before Him. Also nowhere to be found was our national first premise, our historic understanding of the self-evident truth that our rights come from God, not from mere men, and that because of that, those rights are unalienable. And it wasn't just God, or our national obligations to Him, and to each other, that was missing. Trump also totally ignored another whole set of very important persons: the innocent victims of abortion. He spoke rightly of victim Sarah Root as "a child to sacrifice on the altar of open borders." But he completely ignored the more than 3000 innocent little boys and girls who are sacrificed every single day in this country on the altar of "choice" and illicit judicial power. He spoke of "safety at home." What about safety in the womb? He said that he has "no patience for injustice." Really? What about justice for the sixty million or more defenseless victims of the American holocaust? What about the next sixty million who will be slaughtered because political elites like Trump do not care to even mention, much less obey, God, or fulfill their constitutional obligations, or protect the innocents in their mothers' wombs? Our wise founders, in addition to premising our form of government on the reason human government exists, the equal protection of the God-given, unalienable rights of us all, stated clearly that the ultimate purpose of our great Constitution was "to secure the Blessings of Liberty to our Posterity." They placed the rights of that Posterity on an equal, or even superior, plane to their own rights. But, sadly, our Posterity, those who are not even yet conceived, were not worth a mention either. Let me be blunt: Trump doesn't care about the Source of our Rights, the Source of our Security, the Source of our national sovereignty and prosperity, the unalienable rights of the people, or the unalienable rights of our Posterity. He doesn't care about the raison d'etre of all just human government. He doesn't care about our national purposes, as stated in our Constitution. He doesn't care about that Constitution's explicit, imperative equal protection requirements. He doesn't care about reining in a judiciary that is trampling down our rights, and the rights of the most helpless and innocent among us, in complete disregard for the obligations of their own oaths. He doesn't care about the actual meaning and content of his own oath, if the people are foolish enough in November to put him in the position to raise his right hand and take it. If he cared about those things, he would have considered them worthy of mention during the biggest moment of his life, with the whole world watching and listening. What does he care about? Getting elected. How is he going about getting elected? By continually puffing himself up and pandering shamelessly to you with thundering promises about "deals," and security, and law and order, and how he is going to make you rich. Arrogant promises he can't possibly keep. Why? Because he is utterly ignorant, utterly silent, about the absolutely essential predicates for any possible security or prosperity for our country, both now or in the future. Pay close attention to the dog in the night-time, folks. It just might solve the whole mystery for you. If it's not barking, there is a very important reason why this is the case. "Some of you know that my husband, Tom, received more than 40,000 votes for President in 2012, placing eighth among all candidates in the general election, according to the FEC. This was accomplished solely by grassroots activism. No money, and barely any media, was involved.
Tom and I have worked for many years to end abortion, and in 2015, Tom was named by NewsMax as one of the "100 Most Influential Pro-life Advocates" in the country. We truly believe abortion is unconstitutional, and that it persists only by the great fallacy of judicial supremacy advocated by compromised politicians. Abortion would end overnight if our leaders would simply uphold their oath to the Constitution, and check the tyranny of the Supreme Court. We are prepared to lead in this effort. But we can't do it alone. We have people working all over the country to get on as many state ballots as we can. Wherever we can’t get directly on the ballot, we will be running an officially-recognized write-in campaign. But we still need volunteers and electors in many places. So, if you would like to give voters a real choice in this election, join our fight for the rule of law and principle. Just send an email to my husband at tomhoefling@gmail.com, or simply sign up here at the website. Every election comes down to the leadership and diligence of the grassroots. I think We the People can turn this country around, if we stay faithful to God, obey the Constitution, and don’t give up." "I support Tom Hoefling for President! His values and goals for our country match mine more than any other candidate currently running. I'm voting my conscience and trusting God with the outcome." "The Bible and the U.S. Constitution are my guides, in that order. There is only one candidate, I am aware of, who meets the minimum standards set forth in both. That candidate is Tom Hoefling. Good fruit can only come from a good tree. All others will disappoint. Please join me in saying, 'Godspeed Tom Hoefling! America needs you!'" "Without our moral understanding of God-given, unalienable, individual rights, and without the crucial principle of equal protection under the law, the historic American claim to liberty and self-government is gone. That's why, unless it is stopped, the practice of human abortion will inevitably be fatal to the American republic. A building cannot long stand once its foundations have been eroded away." -- Tom Hoefling Tom Hoefling
CAN-DO-USA of Lohrville, Iowa "You can't beat something with nothing," as the old saying goes. While we're fighting to rein in an out-of-control federal government, we have to be about the serious business, the hard work, of rebuilding America from the bottom up. If you're not going to allow an unconstitutional socialist welfare state, you have to be prepared to live and work and prosper in a truly free constitutional republic. In other words, there's going to be no more supposedly "free lunch." As the scripture puts it: "...this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." -- II Thessalonians 3:10 The rain just blew through. Time to go dig more new potatoes and pick sweet corn to feed the family and to sell to raise money for the food pantry ... "Along with the national convention of The American Party of the United States I am proud to support Tom Hoefling for president. Tom was nominated by acclamation at our national convention in May, and I gladly add my name to his supporters!" |
