In his quest for another four-year term, Gov. Terry Branstad may have to fend off a challenger from his own party.
Tom Hoefling was in Council Bluffs Wednesday seeking signatures to force a June primary for the Republican gubernatorial nomination and said he was “on track” to get the required number.
“I know conservatives want another choice,” he said.
