"Why isn't he on the news yet? People I tell won't vote for him because he's not out there to let them know anything."
Supporter to me:
"Thomas Hoefling, can you address this?"
My response to both of them:
"Pretty much every conservative knows by now that we cannot rely on the so-called 'mainstream media.' They are not our friends, to put it mildly. You can count on them to make this election about nothing else but a horse race between the corrupt liberal candidates of the Republican and Democrat parties.
The so-called 'conservative media' isn't much better. Most of them will be doing the same thing. (However, we do have some limited opportunities to use them to get our message out, in a modest way.)
Which leaves what?
The citizen media.
The men who won our independence from Great Britain did so, in terms of communications, with little more than hand-written letters delivered by men on horseback, and broadsides, or what we call fliers, printed on relatively crude printing presses.
What do we have available to us?
We virtually all have a cell phone on our belt, and text messaging, and computers, and the internet, and free email - often with thousands of contacts in our address book, and free websites, and free social networks, and free telephone conferencing capability, and free web radio, and free web video, etc., etc., etc. It's not that we lack the ability to communicate with one another. To date, all we have have lacked is the vision and the will to do so.
xxxxx xxx xxxxxx, look at xxxxxxx x xxxx. They are getting the word out to thousands of people, using the resources at their disposal. And there are many supporters just like them who are doing exactly the same thing. You found out about me by this means, right? Multiply that, and folks will be amazed at what COULD happen.
But, it's up to you. The only limiting factor, really, is whether or not you choose to stay trapped in the same old way of thinking, which has produced nothing but the continued destruction of our liberty and our form of government.
I hope you will deeply ponder what I'm saying here.
God bless.
Tom Hoefling
